Problem Statement

B2B healthcare brands often struggle to effectively communicate their values and services through their marketing websites, leading to a lack of user trust, engagement, and understanding of their offerings. The challenge was to design a platform that not only conveyed the brand’s core values and services clearly but also fostered meaningful interactions with users.

This was an experience design project for a B2B healthcare brand's marketing website.

The goal was to create a platform that effectively communicated the brand's values, showcased its services, and engaged users through a seamless online experience.

Throughout the design process, I focused on crafting an intuitive and visually compelling interface that built trust, educated users about the brand's offerings, and encouraged meaningful interactions.

Too Many Products/Services

The healthcare brand offered a wide range of products and services, making it difficult to create a unified narrative and cohesive design across the website.

Varied Target Audience Needs

The website had to appeal to a wide range of users, from students exploring educational content to investors seeking business insights, making it challenging to present information in a way that resonates universally.

Healthcare-Specific Jargon

Explaining intricate healthcare solutions and technologies in a way that was easy to understand for non-technical users while retaining credibility for industry experts.

Competitor Deep Dive

To inform the design strategy, a competitor deep dive was conducted to analyze how similar B2B healthcare brands structure their marketing websites, communicate their value propositions, and engage their audiences.

The analysis focused on key aspects such as navigation, content organization, visual design, messaging, and user engagement tactics. Key takeaways included identifying best practices, such as the use of interactive storytelling and streamlined service categorization, as well as gaps like inconsistent branding or overwhelming information.

High-Level Heuristic Assessment

A broad heuristic evaluation was conducted to assess overall usability and identify key friction points in the website experience. This high-level analysis focused on optimizing navigation, minimizing cognitive load, and ensuring design alignment with user expectations. Information prioritization with right heirarchy

To address the diverse needs of the audience, we prioritized information based on user intent and business goals.

Key details, such as the brand’s offerings and value propositions were placed prominently using a well-defined visual and content hierarchy. This ensured that users could quickly access the most relevant information without feeling overwhelmed.

Strategic use of headings, subheadings, and callouts guided users through the content logically, enhancing comprehension and engagement.
